2. Jantar Mantar/ Royal Observatory

The Jantar mantar was built in 18th Century by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. 20 Main Instruments are fixed to study the movement of Celestial Objects. It is designed to observe the astronomical positions with naked eye. Jantar Mantar Symbolizes our astronomical skills of that time.

3. Hawa Mahal, the palace of winds.

Jaipur’s most distinguished landmark, the Hawa Mahal is an extraordinary pink painted five storey’s Palace build by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799 for the Royal Ladies to watch the life and processions of the city.

A Small museum opens from Saturday to Thursday depicting miniature paintings , ceremonial Armour , some royal paintings to have a feel of royal Past.

4. Jal Mahal

Jal Mahal is a beautiful palace built in lake Sagar which appears to be floating on the still water of the lake. This palace was constructed in 18th Century as an overnight lodge when the Royals used to come for duck Hunting. Jal Mahal can be viewed from the bank of Lake.
